What is the role of a Postpartum Doula?

Postpartum doulas are individuals that specialize in postpartum care for families that have recently given birth. Postpartum doulas offer support with lactation, sleep, nutrition, emotional and spiritual wellness, physical healing and more.

Postpartum Care

    • Parent, partner, and/or sibling support after birth

    • Newborn care while parent(s) cares for themself

    • Postpartum and newborn nutrition

    • Lactation support

    • Basic housework (laundry, dishes, food preparation) & basic errands (grocery pick-up)

    • Daytime or overnight support

    • Unlimited phone and text support for postpartum questions or concerns

    • 4 hours minimum; 8:00am-6:00pm

    • $32/hr

    • 8 hours minimum, 8:00pm-7:00am

    • $35/hr
